Badges Head

A request by the West Tamar Council to have Fire Ready Services create a Fuel Modified Buffer Zone at Badgers Head. The FMBZ was created by hand works and machine utilisation where possible. Waste vegetation heaped, let dry and then burnt in the Autumn. FRS also engages with the burning of heaps. Again, Local residents were very pleased with the result as excessive fuel loads are now removed making themselves and their assets much safer during the dry summer months.
